I have been missing in action for a while. For those of you who missed me, I’m sorry for being absent. I got caught up with some stuff and then went through a phase when I wasn’t feeling inspired. But I’m back and now that I am back, I realise how much I have missed it. How much I have missed you. I hope to continue posting as much as I can.

So yeah, today’s post is about Murphy’s Law. All things that can go wrong will go wrong when you least want them to. It happens with me all the time. Like right now, I decided to shoot after a two month sabbatical, wanted to present something magical and bam! I had a breakout. I delayed the shoot, hoping for it to go away, or reduce enough to easily get covered by makeup.

I have never had a pimple that turns black, I have also never had the urge to shoot as much as I did this time. Perfect Murphy’s Law material. That’s right, instead of fading away, my pimple turned black.

So here I am, with my black spot which also wanted to be in the shoot because it doesn’t like missing being in front of the camera, attending parties and every other important day of my life. It is the one thing I can blindly rely on, it is loyal that way. It has never let me down, the only thing that has never stood me up.

To compliment my dark new beauty spot, I went for a stark white dress because it deserves the best. Also because it’s June, the height of unkind, unapologetic summers. White sheer makes for a good summer outfit for both indoor and outdoor.

Red lips and nails are a classic that especially look good with white. And that’s it, I hope my spot is happy since I stopped trying to hide it. I’ll see you soon…probably with my spot.
